Anishinaabe prairie singer-songwriter Frannie Klein shares how coming from a musical family played a huge role in her pursuit of music and how inspiration for lyrics can strike at any time.
In 2023, Frannie Klein, along with three other emerging Indigenous artists, converged at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, for a five-day intensive artist development program that offered career guidance, mentorship from music industry leaders, and the opportunity for artists to connect with each other and share ideas.
Sponsored by TD, the OHSOTO’KINO Music Incubator is supporting the next wave of Indigenous talent and amplifying Indigenous stories through music.
