Canadian electroacoustic composer and musician Sarah Davachi performs, “Instrumental II,” using a Hammond B-3 organ (1957), known for its iconic tone that has helped to define the sound of a wide multitude of musical genres such as soul, funk, prog rock, blues, and jazz.
In 2021, Davachi spent a week as the National Music Centre’s Stingray Classical Artist in Residence, experimenting with a vast collection of musical instruments.
