Performing artist, audio engineer, and music producer Dani Lion (hailing from the Saik’uz First Nation in B.C.) shares her desire to make music with a lasting impact and how she is carrying on the songs and language of her community.
In 2023, Dani Lion, along with three other emerging Indigenous artists, converged at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, for a five-day intensive artist development program that offered career guidance, mentorship from music industry leaders, and the opportunity for artists to connect with each other and share ideas.
