Once called “Canada’s best kept secrets in the arts” by the Globe and Mail and “The Biggest Canadian Star You’ve Probably Never Heard Of” by the Huffington Post, Raghav Mathur is a global pop sensation. His debut 2004 album, Storyteller, sold 1.3 million copies worldwide. The album had four singles reach the Top 10 in the U.K. national charts and remains the 6th best-selling international album of all time in India. With three studio albums under his belt, he’s collaborated with some of the most prominent names in pop music, including Labrinth, Oscar/Grammy winner A.R. Rahman, multi-Grammy winning producers Sly & Robbie, Nelly, Redman, Kardinal Offishall and Afrojack. His mix of pop, R&B, hip hop and Bollywood sounds has garnered him international awards and recognition, including at the prestigious MOBO Awards in the U.K., and a JUNO Award nod in 2011.
