The National Music Centre (NMC) is pleased to announce Elizabeth Reade’s return to the organization as the new Director of Development.
Reade spent five years with NMC as a Senior Development Officer before accepting a position with the Calgary Public Library Foundation as their Director of Philanthropy. She succeeds Jeni Piepgrass, who moved onto a new position in February after nine years with NMC. The National Music Centre team is pleased to welcome Reade back to lead the organization through a new phase in its evolution.
During Reade’s time with NMC, she played a pivotal role in securing major and leadership gifts towards the organization’s capitol campaign. Reade will now lead the fundraising activities of NMC as it grows its operational capacity through on-site programs and events.
“After a rewarding year with the library, I’m returning to the organization with a fresh perspective,” said Reade. “Being part of the capital campaign and bringing the NMC dream to reality was the most fulfilling experience of my career. It is a privilege to be back at the National Music Centre and to be a part of contributing further as we transition to increased programming, exhibitions and education programs.”
