Quarter Note Video Tweet: the Robb Wave organ

We were very fortunate to have professor Michael Murphy here recently visiting from Ryerson University, where he is a faculty member in their Graduate Program of Comunication and Culture. He's been conducting research on the Robb Wave organ, invented in 1926 by Morris Robb of Belleville, Ontario. This instrument is the world's first electronic organ and we have the only remaining operational instrument in the world!

Dr. Murphy assembled audio samples of the instrument so that sampling software can be developed for the Robb Wave organ, ensuring that its sounds carry on into future generations of music lovers all over the world. We'll be sure to let you know more as the project develops!
