On Thursday, April 4, 2013, we took another important step in the process of renewing the infamous King Edward Hotel as part of the new National Music Centre building project. The iconic neon sign was removed to undergo restoration, ensuring that this beacon of live music in Calgary continues to shine for another 50 years. The sign will be reattached to the building once other restoration work is complete.
