National Music Centre in partnership with 10 at 10 Music & Culture presented a special event in honour of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. The event brought together members of the Alberta hip-hop community to celebrate the four main elements of hip-hop culture (i.e. graffiti art, MCing, DJing, and breakdancing). Though the four elements are often referenced, this video signifies the fifth element of knowledge.
