Toronto-based artist Chad Price shares his process of building the instrumental and melodic shell for a new song, harnessing inspiration from Neil Young’s 1935 Martin guitar.
Chad Price’s experience as a self-managed pop-R&B artist made a big impression in CBC Music’s Toyota Searchlight contest where he was named the 2022 winner. Among other prizes, he was awarded a week-long residency at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, in Calgary.
