Hip-Hop 50 | Alberta Rappers Pay Tribute to Hip-Hop’s Legacy

Calgary rappers ZHE the Free, Tea Fannie, Ricca Razor Sharp, and AC Iller perform tributes to hip-hop’s 50 anniversary from a Western perspective.

The National Music Centre in partnership with 10 at 10 Music & Culture presented a special event hosted by former MuchMusic VJ Master T in honour of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. The event brought together members of the Alberta hip-hop community to celebrate the four main elements of hip-hop culture (i.e. graffiti art, MCing, DJing, and breakdancing).
