Hip-Hop 50 | Graffiti Artist JD War Paint Breaks Down Hip-Hop Anniversary Piece

Calgary graffiti artist JD War Paint breaks down an artwork inspired by hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.

The National Music Centre (NMC in partnership with 10 at 10 Music & Culture presented a special event hosted by former MuchMusic VJ Master T in honour of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. The event brought together members of the Alberta hip-hop community to celebrate the four main elements of hip-hop culture (i.e. graffiti art, MCing, DJing, and breakdancing).
