Hosted by the charismatic Bob Chartier, Eldersong weaves song and stories by seven seniors together into a 90-minute show in celebration of Seniors’ Week.
Artists performing include Barry Luft, music inspirer and philosopher; Doc Mehl, cowboy poet and songwriter; Eilish Hiebert, a true daughter of the folk music and Irish Celtic music traditions; and Edna Einsiedel, who found the ukulele or rather it may have found her.
Eldersong is presented by Music Mile, National Music Centre, Skeeter Media, and Age-Friendly Calgary.
