Fresh off a JUNO Award nomination for Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year, Canadian-Nigerian singer-producer Nonso Amadi performed a selection of his songs at Studio Bell as part of National Music Centre’s Pass the Mic event. In honour of Black History Month 2024, National Music Centre and former MuchMusic VJ Master T hosted a special event reflecting on Black Canadian music as the mic was passed from one generation to the next on stage.
